Don’t miss Classical Mansfield, a free concert presented by the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra. Directed by Octavio Más-Arocas, this community event brings together over 55 musicians for an extraordinary symphonic experience.
The program features an engaging mix of classical and contemporary works, including Katahj Copley’s Gasoline Rainbows and Sergei Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 2, performed by guest violinist Yvonne Lam. The second half of the program showcases the vibrant and playful music of Dmitri Shostakovich, including Tahiti-Trot (Tea for Two) and selections from his Suite for Variety Orchestra No. 1.
