While exploring a condemned Victorian mansion in Mansfield, Kat, a trending YouTube star, discovers a hundred year old letter and becomes fascinated with its author, Ruby Crowe.

Kat resurrects the story of Ruby and her husband Alexander, a well known and ambitious lecturer on the Chautauqua circuit who will stop at nothing to build his Chautauqua empire. When he implicates Ruby in a lewd scheme to win over a wealthy investor, Ruby is pushed to her breaking point.

Young and Unsullied, a new play by Alison Bolen and Jason Kaufman, tells a harrowing, but ultimately redemptive story of fame, abuse, and sexual betrayal simmering beneath a veneer of opulence, intellectualism, and Victorian propriety.
