Despite the cancellation of our current season and the temporary closure of our theatre, we are working every day to plan a full schedule of great performances and events for our patrons to enjoy as soon we can be together again. We rely on performance-generated revenues for 60% of our annual operating budget, and these cancellations have dealt an immediate blow to the Renaissance as we prepare to face a significant loss of more than $200,000 in the next two months. Please help us recover just a small portion of this lost revenue and contribute to our "Help us get out of QuaRENtine" campaign to raise a total of $25,000. Your gift of any amount will help keep the arts alive in Mansfield!
In accordance with Governor Mike DeWine’s Executive Order, we have either rescheduled, postponed or cancelled our events through May 8, 2020.
Linda joined the Renaissance team in September 2008 as a box office associate, and is currently the Programming Manager. A native of Cleveland, she was brought to the Renaissance by her mother-in-law soon after moving to the area, and immediately fell in love with it. "It was awe inspiring to see such a beautiful, magnificent theatre right here in Mansfield. I've been here for over ten years and I am still in awe of what the Renaissance offers to the community."
Linda worked for many years at Cuyahoga County Public Library in Cleveland before relocating to the Mansfield area. Before coming to the Ren, she worked for the State of Ohio. A love of the arts and a desire to be more involved in the community's culture prompted her to leave her job and find a home at the Ren. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Ohio State University and a Master of Arts in Organizational Communication from the Scripps College of Communication at Ohio University.
An avid animal lover and rescue advocate, Linda is a proud member of the Humane Society of Richland County's Board of Directors and currently serves as Board Chair. In her free time, Linda enjoys live music, good reads, loud laughter, nice Moscato, and evenings spent at home, covered in cats. Linda lives in Bellville with her husband Jon and a house full of animals.
