When you're a staff of 13 and have 40,000 people coming through your doors, things can get a little impersonal. But you can be sure, there are some really interesting (and maybe slightly weird) people behind the Renaissance Theatre.
In addition to our staff of arts administrators, technical and artistic teams, gigantic corps of volunteers, dedicated board, we have hundreds of donors and community supporters ensuring the long future of rich, live arts in our region.
We've been looking for ways to connect with you in a more meaningful way. Engaging with you on our Facebook page, on Twitter, on Instagram, and even on Snapchat (@rentheatre) is awesome - but doesn't always offer us an opportunity to really delve into the stories behind the productions and programs we offer.
The brand-spankin' new Renaissance Blog and recently launched Renaissance Podcast are just two of the ways that you'll be able to connect with the Renaissance in a more personal, immersive way.
We'll be regularly posting on Tuesdays and our podcast releases an episode every two weeks on Fridays. Of course, we'll also pepper that with some special glimpses when the opportunity arises (like, when Mark Sebastian Jordan gives a great pre-show lecture we don't want anyone to have to miss!).
