The Teddy Bear Concert series invites young audiences and families to experience the magic of live music in a welcoming and interactive environment.
This special performance features The Carnival of the Animals by French composer Camille Saint-Saëns, brought to life through an engaging original script by Michael Thomas. Children and families will join musicians from the Mansfield Symphony for an up-close musical adventure filled with storytelling, audience participation, and playful characters inspired by the beloved orchestral work.
Designed especially for children ages 2–10, Teddy Bear Concerts offer a sensory-friendly experience with small audience sizes, lights up, and lower sound levels. Audience members are invited to sit on stage alongside the performers, creating a fun and immersive setting where young listeners can explore music in an approachable way.
Perfect for first-time concertgoers, this joyful program introduces children to the orchestra while celebrating imagination, movement, and the wonder of live performance.
