Under the expert direction of Octavio Más-Arocas, the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra will perform the unforgettable score of 1776, featuring more than 55 talented musicians from Mansfield and beyond. With Artistic Director Michael Thomas leading a cast of local performers, this special event merges the power of music with thrilling theatrical storytelling.
Featuring returning guest stars Jeff Richmond and Brian Stepanek, and welcoming The Tonight Show co-host Steve Higgins and Marc Moritz, this event brings an exciting mix of nationally recognized talent and local artistry to the stage.
Part of the nationwide America 250 celebration, this immersive production highlights the musical’s portrayal of America’s founding—packed with energy, emotion, and patriotism. This collaboration offers a rare opportunity to experience a beloved musical in a bold new way, blending the richness of a live orchestra with the excitement of a staged performance.
