"Engaging the Whole Child the Whole Way Through" with Randy Barron
April 22, 2026 @ 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm
What if your students could tap into deeper learning across subjects through the power of the arts? In this hands-on professional development workshop, educators will build a compact, practical set of arts-integrated strategies that support creative thinking and student engagement—no matter what subject they teach.
Led by veteran Kennedy Center Teaching Artist Randy Barron, this session draws on over four decades of classroom experience and hundreds of educator workshops nationwide. Using multiple art forms and aligned with state content standards, Randy offers a scaffold of tested techniques teachers can immediately apply to bring the creative process into daily learning.
Presented through the Kennedy Center’s Partners in Education program in collaboration with the Mansfield Art Center and Mansfield City Schools, this session is open to all area educators and administrators and counts toward CEUs.
Best for teachers of all grade levels and subject areas.
