Each season, the Renaissance Performing Arts Association produces and presents between 40 and 50 productions in its beautiful venue, ranging from classical music to comedy and everything in between. With nearly $500,000 in lost revenue due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have had to re-think how we do what we do best – providing entertainment and education for our community.

This year more than ever, we need YOUR help. As we approach the end of this year, every dollar raised will help us continue providing high-quality arts programming and arts education in our region for years to come. The stage is set, and your time to shine is now.

Your Gift Will Be Matched

Through a generous anonymous donor, all gifts collected will be matched up to $20,000!

Be Our Light!

It is a theatrical tradition to have a ghost light – a single lightbulb that shines center stage in the darkness, enabling one to navigate the theatre to avoid falls or trips over set pieces and appeasing the spirits of theatres past by providing light by which to perform their ethereal productions while the theatre is dark.

At the Renaissance, our ghost light prevents accidents but also serves as a beacon for those charged with bringing the stage to life – curtain up, light the lights, ready to welcome the next group of patrons to relish the emotional experiences that only live performances provide.

In the Darkness, One Light Can Lead the Way.

Percy Hall Memorial Fund

Percy Hall was a Mansfield music icon and fundamental contributor to the history of our very own Mansfield Symphony Orchestra. In addition to a long tenure as a musician in the symphony, Mr. Hall was integral to the establishment of the Symphony’s Youth Orchestra and Youth Strings programs along with his long-time colleague and close friend Ettore Chiudioni. A prolific composer with over 250 published works to his name, Percy’s music has been played across North America. Among his many contributions to music throughout Ohio and the United States, he was a champion of music education, dedicating his life to it and touching the lives of thousands upon thousands of students through more than 60 years of teaching and leading in various capacities.

To honor his legacy of providing lifelong musical opportunities to young people, Mr. Hall’s family has established the Percy Hall Memorial Fund to support the Mansfield Symphony Youth Orchestra and Youth Strings.  To contribute to this fund, you may click the button below or send a check to the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra, 138 Park Avenue West, Mansfield OH 44902.
